Help TJLP continue critical name and gender marker services across the State of Illinois! Since 2011 we have been providing in person name change services in Cook County, and have extended services to the entire State of Illinois. Since 2021 we have been providing virtual services in addition to our in-person name change clinics with the goal of reaching everyone in need of a gender affirming name change in Illinois. We have also worked to improve the name change and gender marker laws in Illinois to ensure that this State can provide more access for trans and gender expansive communities. Help us continue to provide these critical services while are communities are facing new unprecedented challenges to our self-determination and ability to live authentically.

$15-$75 - Supports TJLP paying for identity documents for one person (i.e., birth certificates, State IDs, etc)

$70 - Supports the labor cost of your name change

$140 - Supports the labor cost of your name change and another individual or family

$280 - Supports the labor cost of your name change and two individuals or families

$388 - Supports the cost of a name change or out-of-state gender marker change court order filing in Cook County

Other - No amount is too small or too large ; )
