Community Art

TJLP supports the artwork of transgender and gender non-conforming folks who have experienced incarceration as a necessary part of the prison abolition movement. We have the honor of working with several dedicated artists whose work we would like to display below. These images show us the injustice inherent in the current prison-industrial complex, and help us imagine a world without prisons.
